Get registered to be able to vote.  Voting is the most fundamental expression of American citizenship.  So register now and help make a difference.  Be sure to register at least 28 days prior to the next election so that you can vote in that election.  If you have changed your name, your address, moved into the county, or never registered before, then please get registered!  It's easy to do and very, very important.

1.) The DeKalb County Elections Website provides the necessary information to inform you of the many places you can go in DeKalb County to register along with information about who can or should register.

VOTING REGISTRATION LOCATIONS: There are many places in DeKalb County you can go to register to vote. You do not specify a party affiliation when you register.  The locations in DeKalb County include many government offices, area banks, universities and libraries. Just bring 2 forms of identification, including one with your current DeKalb County address, then fill out a very short form for the Registrar, and you are done!  Follow this link for Voting Registration Locations located in DeKalb County.

There are also many Democratic Party Representatives who are Deputy Registrars who can assist you in your registration to vote (for these names, click on the Contact Us button on the top of our homepage and then fill out your request for information requesting the names of the Democratic Party Representatives who can help you get registered)  and yes, Republican Party Representatives also. Look for a double asterisk (**) after the names of the Exec. Committee members and Precinct Chairs to identify those who are Deputy Registrars. You may contact any of them for assistance in registering to vote.

2.) Rock the Vote at www.rockthevote.com provides an addressed letter to mail to the State Board of Elections to request your Mail Voter Registration Form.  After you receive the form, all you have to do is fill in the form and mail it back to their office.

Registering to vote is quick and easy.  You need to register in order to express your feelings at the ballot box.  So register and make a difference!
