Our democratic system of government depends on citizen participation at every level, but especially at the local level. National politics may seem more exciting than mundane local affairs, but it is here in your local environment that you can make the biggest difference.
The Democratic Party of DeKalb County is a group of dedicated volunteers focused on our primary mission of electing Democratic candidates from the municipal level to the national level. We support this mission by recruiting and training candidates, raising funds to promote our candidates and our message, and by supporting a progressive social, environmental, and economic agenda. We have made progress but there is much more to do, and it will take the efforts of all of us, working together, to make our community meet its potential.
